WHO WE ARE?
We Volunteering friends came forward to support Madurai and Madurai People in all possible ways. We joined together in a motive of Service but not Profit. We put effort as much as we can but we don’t expect anything in Return.! Every Volunteer is Unique in their roles and Our Team is fully built with Tons and Tons of POSITIVITY.!
OUR STORY:
In the year 2009, Engineering friends together started helping people who are in Need. In the year 2011, We registered ourselves which is done by the Founder Dr. DUCATHI B.E(EEE)., M.B.A., Treasurer Mr. D. SENTHIL KUMAR M.E., and Managing Trustee Mr. K. LAKSHMI NARAYANAN B.E., We jointly started helping the Poor Children for Education.
When days passed we started doing many service oriented activities like Blood Donation, Food Donation, Grocery Donation, Dress Donation, Medicine Donation and so on., We haven’t collected much fund from others to support out trust but some donors came forward to support us in doing so., The Founder he himself have given maximum contribution towards this trust till February 2020. He is contributing to the Trust on conducting Event and Photography activities.
In March 2020, that is during COVID’19 they have created a Camp named “CORONA CAMP” where they helped many people as possible by providing Food, Groceries, Medicine, Masks, Sanitizers, Gloves and Lot more. Dr. Ducathi was unable to continue the Trust as there is no events and Photography Activities. He decided to quit and move from the place Unfortunately, some of his friends came forward to help by donating money to continue running trust. As many Volunteers came forward he changed and Inaugurated it as “THE MADURAI VOLUNTEERS – Supported by MY FATHERS TRUST”.
At present all Volunteering friends helping and supporting people in and around Madurai. We are helping poor in all possible ways. We are providing Dinner to 40 road siders every day from (JUNE 2020). We are also doing Educational Support, Medicinal Support, Business Support, Manpower Support and lot more service activities.
During Covid We, THE MADURAI VOLUNTEERS TRUST supported the needy people during Pandemic.
We have given food to covid affected persons until they recover.
We have been Celebrating Birthday of every Children in the Orphanage from July 2023. This is Our Regular activity.
We have been helping the really needy children for their Education and Stationaries.
Helping the needy Children for Education is our Ultimate Goal.
We have Celebrated 1000 Days of Night Food Donation by providing food to Road siders and Various Orphanage and Old-age Homes.
We have been helping the needy for Medicines.
Providing Napkin to Orphanage Children Regularly.
Providing Diaper for Old-age People Regulary.
We usually collect Dresses from Public and we will segregate and give it to Old-age and Orphanage People.
Monthly Groceries donated to really needy People like Transmen, Blind Family, Cancer affected needy and Differently Challenged Family.
This is Our Monthly Activity.
Supporting special kids by providing them needed materials occassionally.
Diwali will be Celebrated with People at Old- age every year from 2022.
We also celebrate Diwali with Orphan Children every year by Providing them Sweets and Crackers.
Every year from 2022 Christmas is Celebrated with Orphan Children by giving them the required items asked by every Children like Shoes, Stationaries, Bags or other required items stated by them.
